shalom

Hey there everyone. (Insert happy smile here...kind of happy smile...)
So June 5th was the last time I actually made post. I'm totally slacking these days. There aren't enough hours in the day I can tell you that much. Since I do my internship from 10-5  Monday through Friday, by the time I get home I do my whack ass internship class work,  eat dinner, do the occasional workout tape (which is way harder than it sounds, by the way) it's already like 11:30. It's like shit where the fuck does time go???? If only I can hop into my time machine and slow the clock just a little bit. (I am convinced the government has one and is keeping it hostage.)

Anyways, what can I tell you about my travels thus far in good old Massachusetts.
One thing I can tell you, is that I am pimping all over the world. Well maybe not the world, but at least the Eastern coast. ;) I can tell you I was here not even six hours and was getting checked out in the local Stop and Shop. I guess shopping for groceries is a new, sexy way to meeting people. I mean mmmm that frozen food section makes me so horny.....ohhh those lean cuisines really know how to get me going.............nottttt. Jeez, like keep it in your pants bro I'm just picking up the essentials and don't need you eye raping me as I use the self-check out. HAHAHA, pun intended I guess. (Totally unintentional and I enjoy it.) But anyways, I guess I look different than these Massachussians, (not really sure if that is a word or I made it up. Anyways, I'm using it and don't give a crap if you judge me) with my firey red locks and red lipstick. Bahahaha, no I think it's just a novelty kind of thing considering I'm the new girl in town and everyone wants to know my deal.
It reminds me of Northport to a degree considering everyone knows everyones business and it's pretty sporty and nautical.

A funny observation I found is this:
Duxbury is the lovechild of Lily Pulitzer and Vineyard Vines where the garbage men and landscapers and white and the housewives roam the gym and teenage lax bros romp in their brand new jeeps.

According to the Bylo girls I live with, they said that's probably the most accurate description of Duxbury they've ever heard. Touche and kudos to me. *pats self on back*

Anyhoooo,
I finally finished this analytic spreadsheets on the financials of the business that calculated the return on investments in comparison to the revenue spent on advertising and the sources used. ( yeah bitch, I know I'm important)  so now I feel accomplished and giving myself a break. Of course you would think that I would spit out these spreadsheets like lightning considering I just took the class about Microsoft last semester, but naturally,  school information has left my brain permanently. I have to give myself credit though because after all, this internship is a learning experience and I'm not gong to come here and know everything right off the bat.

I'm only saying that because yesterday I was a little discouraged and upset (maybe all this rain is playing with my head as well) but I know a positive attitude is crucial to succeed in any type of work environment. (I know--I know, I am a cornball...what can I say?)

Alright well I am cutting out of work early today since I know I will have more than enough hours toward this internship class and since everything is like 30 minutes away from each other over here, I might as well get a jump start on my commute.

Over and out.
XO!

I am Samantha K and I approve this message.
